NUViT MoisLoc Series Review Author: Iman Abdrahim Source: https://www.imanabdulrahim.com/2019/07/nuvit-moistloc-series-review.html Hi! Have you heard about Nuvit before? This is actually my first time trying this brand. So here is my thoughts on them. Is it good? Do I like them? There are four products that I will be featuring in this post which are the cleansing milk, hydrating toner, serum and gel. NUViT MoistLoc Hydrating Double Action Cleansing Milk (100ml, RM27.90) How to use? Apply onto wet skin and gently massage skin. Cleanse morning and/or evening. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry without rubbing. Use as a daily face wash for normal to dry skin to remove makeup, dirt, impurities, and hydrate skin. It is free from fragrance but it contains essential oils (Orange, Lavender) in case if your skin is sensitive with essential oils. For me, I don’t really mind unless it’s peppermint/ bergamot because I don’t like the minty feeling. It is free from alcohol and paraben. It uses gentle surfactant with no SLS. However, if you have fungal acne, you might want to avoid this since it contains Polysorbate 60 and PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate. This product claims to have a perfect solution for skin-moisturizing system. It helps to activate skin hydrating system and restore long-lasting hydration to strengthen skin’s barrier and prevent it’s dehydration, protecting skin from dryness and external irritation, resulting in impeding water loss, immediately making skin tender and plump, revealing a more radiant skin tone. For me, I only use this as my second cleanser during PM routine because I prefer doing double cleansing method. My first cleanser is any oil based cleanser to remove all the makeup and sunscreen. Then, I will continue using this cleanser. I tested the pH and it is around pH4-5. I personally think this is a good cleanser that is comfortable to use, no tight feeling after using this product, a low pH cleanser, no irritating ingredients, no harsh surfactants and contains moisturizing ingredients. I like this cleanser! MoistLoc Hydrating Toner (150ml, RM33.90) How to use? After cleansing, gently sweep over the face and neck with a cotton pad or fingertips. Can be used twice a day, morning and night. This toner is really light, almost like water and absorbs nicely into the skin. There is no distinct scene that I noticed and I love that it does not contains fragrance. I like using my toner using my palm and apply it 3-4 layers for extra soothing and hydrating effect. NUViT MoistLoc Hydrating Crystal Serum (30ml, RM60.90) How to use? Gently spread from center of the face outwards after toner application. Press palms into face for better absorption. Can be used twice a day, morning and night. I love the ingredient list! It contains a few soothing ingredients, such as panthenol, centella asiatica extract and chamomile extract. It also contains brightening ingredients such as niacinamide and licorice root extract. This is by far my fav product in this range! It’s paraben free, silicone free, alcohol free and fragrance free. However, it is not fungal acne safe since it contains PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil and others. I love the watery texture, a thicker version than the toner but it is not sticky. It absorbs nicely into the skin with a calming a soothing feeling. It has no noticeable scent. MoistLoc Hydrating Active Gel (50ml, RM50.90) How to use? Apply in the morning and/or evening onto a thoroughly cleansed face. Avoid contact with eyes. Refreshing, non-greasy texture that easily absorbs into skin. This is a gel moisturizer. I personally think this moisturizer is suitable for combination to normal skin. It is non greasy and very lightweight for oilier skin type or for Malaysian climate if you are always staying outdoor. This product also has no noticeable scent and very hydrating. That’s all. Thank you for reading! (Disclaimer: This is a paid collaboration, however all thoughts, opinions and reviews are my own.
